Provenance: Board Agriculture, Industry and Comemrce(no. 17). Came to the Academy's Museum: April 9th 1863. Note: On loan to the MFMB (inv. S-754), until came back to the Academy on September 29, 2009. In the Museu Marès at Montblanc there exists a copy of this Christ which was executed during the 19th century. It is slightly bigger (1,71 x 1,24) and bears catalogue number 23. The original frame of this painting was trespassed during the 20th century to the portrait of Isabel II by Jaume Batlle (inv. no. 229).
