Presentation of the archive
The archive of the Reial Acadèmia Catalana de Belles Arts of Sant Jordi is integrated of various legacies:
- School of Fine Arts and School of Applied Arts (177/1850-1845)
- Royal Academy (1850 until now)
- Provincial Monuments Commission (1844-1883)
- Commission for the Valuation of Art Objects to Export (1922-1936)
- Photographic archive of monuments and works of art of J. Laurent, G. Félix Nadar and others (XIX century)
One of the most consulted documents are the books of enrollment of the School, where you can find information about the academic training of the artists of the XIX and XX centuries, also artists of the late XVIII century.
The minutes books of the Academy and the School are also very consulted.

Opening hours: working days Monday to Friday from 10h to 14h. August closed. Appointment required.
