Library presentation

The library of the Royal Catalan Academy of fine Arts of Sant Jordi has a collection of 15.700 classified documents about art in all of its forms: paintings, sculptures, architecture, drawings, music, engravings and decorative arts. It is worth mentioning the collection of catalogs and exposition leaflets and 250 titles of periodic publications about art. The Academy also holds the bibliographic archive of the previous academics Josep Ricart i Matas (music) and Garrut i Milicua. There are recent and old publications dating from the XVII century, most of them being from the XIX and XX.

Visiting hours: Monday to Friday working days from 10h to 14h. Closed in August. Appointment required.
